The face

Seven zones, one climb

Every zone has a minimum entry price and a fixed number of seats. Inside a zone you climb by bidding: pay more than your neighbour and you are past them. Once a zone is full the only way in is to displace somebody — and whoever is left last drops into the zone below, keeping their amount.

02 · CLIMBING

One dollar more

To pass somebody you need one dollar more than their bid. Raises on the same link add up, they do not duplicate.

03 · FALLING

Nobody throws you off

If you are outbid you drop a place, you do not leave: you stay on the mountain at the altitude your payment earns. In a full zone the last-placed drops into the zone below, keeping their amount.

04 · TIES

Whoever got there first

On equal bids the earlier payment wins. No algorithm, no quality score, no hidden promotion.

05 · THE SUMMIT

Fixed price

The Summit is not an auction: it costs $100,000, it is bought once and it never expires. Everything below it is negotiable.

06 · MONEY

Half is the placement

Half of every payment buys the act of putting you on the mountain and does not come back. The other half is your standing balance, and you get it back if you ask us to take the listing down. Both halves count towards your altitude.
